Anger Management for Teens & Success

Teens in general are less positive in every situation and are forced to be defensive in their challenging growth in society. They are not compassionate but competitive and jealous. They are compelled to grow up well before their time because of the obstacles and challenges they face. A few manage their adversity while many are defensive. When controlled they lash out, become reckless, grow violent and are even prepared to die.

Teens do not care for advice and compliance making it difficult for anger management. A successful anger management program for teens should not be over bearing and convince them that they have a behavioral problem that need challenging attention. They should be made to realize the significance of making a change.

Learning to control anger is a positive change.

Anger management for teens should teach them self awareness, evaluation of their feelings to identify the trigger points, self control, to pause for a few seconds to see the consequences of their reactions to situations. Later they should be taught to opt for one with effective result. They are taught to review their progress and the result of their choice.
